Carmen received her Master and Doctorate of Occupational Therapy degree from University of Southern California. She also completed her Bachelor of Health Science: Community Health Education at California State University of Long Beach.

Carmen is passionate about supporting children and their families through innovative and individualized care. Carmen completed her doctoral program researching about parental mental health’s impact on co-regulation and familial relationships with children with feeding difficulties. Through her years of schooling, she has found that parent education and parental well-being are important factors to deliver a better holistic approach to therapy. 

Carmen is also fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and is currently learning Korean. During her free time, she enjoys exploring new food cuisines and taking her dog on outdoor adventures
